Regional Director, Buffalo
In July 2006, Tasha E. Moore was appointed Regional Director of the Buffalo Office for the New York State Division of Human Right. The Buffalo Office serves the residents of Erie County, Niagara County, Cattaraugus County, and Chautauqua County.
Ms. Moore first came to the Division as a summer intern in 1996. She was then hired as a paralegal in 1998 and became a Senior Attorney for the Division in 1999. She serves as the 2009 Co-Chair of MBWNY, Inc. Recruitment & Retention Task Force. Ms. Moore is a past chairperson and board member on the Buffalo City Ballet Board of Directors. Ms. Moore has served on the University at Buffalo Law School Alumni Board of Directors and currently serves on the Deans Advisory Committee. She is a proud member of the Women’s Bar Association of the State of New York; Western New York Chapter.
Ms. Moore is the past president of the Minority Bar Association of Western New York and has also served as the vice president and co-chair of the IT committee.
She holds a B.A. in Business Economics from Florida A&M University (FAMU) and a J.D. from the University at Buffalo Law School, SUNY.
